Artist Peter Gabriel Asks To Have His Music Pulled From Rush Limbaugh’s Show

Rush Limbaugh continues to learn that most people don’t think calling a female law student a “slut” and a “prostitute” on the air is a good idea (sarcasm), as even the contributor of his soundtrack now wants out.  Peter Gabriel’s song “Sledgehammer” was played during Rush’s terrible speech against law students and birth control advocate Sandra Flute.  Peter Gabriel has now demanded that all of his music is pulled from Rush’s show.

This follows eight sponsors who have also pulled away from Rush Limbaugh’s conservative talk show.    The list of dropped sponsors includes AOL, Carbonite, Proflowers, Citrix Systems, Quicken Loans, Sleep Number, Sleep Train Mattress, and Legal Zoom.  Several sponsors that were going to air ads along with Rush’s show have backed away as well.
