MIT Students Play Hack Building to Play Tetris

MIT’s “Green Building” is the home of the departments of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Science, and features a lighting system that makes each of the neatly arranged square shaped windows light up in different colors.  What would be the best thing to do with a building that has programmable lighting built into the side?  Why play a massive game of Tetris, of course.

What MIT hackers hail to be “the holy grail of hacks”, someone has programmed a playable game of Tetris into the illuminated window panels of the Green Building.  The massive game of Tetris features increasing difficulty levels and changing colors.  Check out the one of the world’s most epic games of Tetris ever played on the video below!
