This week will be yet another very small round-up, since the holiday break in Japan continues. There were a few shows that popped back up late this week, and a favorite of mine from last year has returned as well! Next week things should be just about in full swing again, so stay tuned!
Hold on to your butts, because combat idols are back! The second season picks right back up where the last one left us (hence the episode numbering), and things are already heating up. This week the anti-fun space marines haul away three of the girls to a “trial” broadcast throughout the galaxy in order to discourage any supporters of entertainment. Naturally, there is only one way to respond to this situation: an all-out assault on the court with singing, dancing, and mecha. This much fun really should be illegal…
The Little Busters have been having too much fun lately, so it’s time for things to get serious again. Riki begins to notice something strange about Mio, the newly-recruited manager of the Little Busters baseball team; and the problem is no can seem to notice her. As Riki digs deeper into Mio’s fading existence, things only get stranger. It is also starting to seem like there is more going on in this world than meets the eye.
It’s been a while since I’ve had my dose of “evil psychic society”, so I’m happy this came back on for the week. This week Saki returns home, only to face an inquiry from the board of education, and these guys don’t just stop at detention for punishment. Lucky for her, she still has her good friend on the ethics committee to help get her out of yet another mess caused by knowing too much.
