Have you ever wondered what a stream would be like if one of the people on it really didn’t like the game and the other person wanted to defend it until the end of time? That is this stream, and that is what we are doing this week on the Mygamer visual cast. Zack finally decided to open up and share something that he once enjoyed with Gillman, and it promptly got destroyed for every reason that anyone could think of. Isn’t friendship grand?
Construction Simulator 2015 will forever be known to me as The Tale of Loader and Bucket. It is the journey of two best friends who are only looking to load up on some gravel and lay some mean pipe down at the job site. That is of course until “the man” got in their way and separated through harsh acts of physics, will power, and just being a dick. I will miss you bucket. You were my best friend.
The long overdue podcast featuring your two favorite giant nerds has finally returned. This go we talk about all of our experiences and fun centered in Halo. I was a little surprised that we haven’t done one of these before, but considering that the new Master Chief Collection just came out it seemed like a good idea. The rest of the idea was to have this paired with a stream of us going for hours in the multiplayer and showing the world how terrible we really are, but it turns out that 343 Studios was more concerned with getting the game out than they were with it functioning so we were unable to do that.
Current classic rises again, this time in the form that is Mario Kart 8 and in the amazing ways that contain 8 different and new tracks and three additional racers. The tracks are pulled into two wonderful cups that we play through for everyone. Don’t worry, fans of our off topic bitching will get everything that they love as we devolve into complaining about how quickly Nintendo loves pulling the rug out from under their fans.
Gillman and Stark are back at it again, after a brief break and me entirely forgetting to put up the podcast for a good long time. Sorry about that.
This week we are talking about FMV games, mainly those on the Sega CD as that was our formative years. We focus in and talk about Night Trap and Sewer Shark with a couple other games thrown into the mix, but as far as anyone can tell those are really the only ones that ever mattered. We then go off on our new video game purchases and how there isn’t enough time left in the day to really do anything fun as we are both getting really, really old. I also blow Stark’s mind at one point by introducing him to various things in the world he had no idea were really a thing. Good time.
In an upcoming experiment I am going to be uploading one of the weekend streams into the feed. If you all like it please let me know, or if you want me to break it off as another item altogether and leave this pure, let me know that too.
