The Spoony Bard Podcast: Episode 70: Great Landing, Great, Great Landing

Great, Just Great

Stark and I are back at it again, this time, again, it is more of my fault.  Work ended up getting away with me, as did vacation and the like.  I am sure that no one wants to hear excuses as much as they want to hear the next podcast, so that is what I am going to give them.

This time we talk about many things, but first of which is Pilotwings for the SNES and other systems.  We also talk about rocket belts and the club that you get into when you fly one of those in real life and how Stark doesn’t seem to believe half the things that I say at a time.  All in all we are back and hoping to make this happen more regularly then we have been ignoring it.

I am calling it fan art even though Casey kind of works for the site.  He doesn’t pod with us, even though he streams and draws.  Screw you.  This was amazing and made my day:

Probably the best landing

Comic: Please Enunciate

There is an issue with PCB’s in the northeast since GE dumped them in some of the rivers in the area more than half a century ago.  Every time there is a news story about it I get excited about it thinking that at first it is going to be about a guy punching through walls and making people on bath salts look weak.  Then, for the briefest moment I think it might be about video games.  Finally I figure out that it is the sad, cancer causing, one.  It is like the stages of grief, but also involved two steps of false hope before being disappointed and losing interest.

Epic Troll Convinces MW3 Player to Argue With Recording of Himself

Most players on Xbox live know by now that sometimes the in game chat is… less than friendly.  It usually doesn’t take long for the game chat to become filled with vile, foul-mouthed tirades that are both shocking and annoying.  One gamer has decide to have fun and get some revenge- and was even nice enough to post a video of his triumph on YouTube.

MW3 gamer “Darkness056” records the ranting of a clearly enraged player, and in the following round, plays back a recording of the players own banter.  Things get good when this crazed gamer begins to argue with the recording of his own voice without realizing it.  Check out the video below for some great laughs, but be warned, the language is offensive and NSFW.

Spoony Bard Podcast: Episode 44: Double Cast

Don’t worry, we are back with another insanely awesome podcast. This week we talk about all kinds of things, why Saints Row the Third is awesome, my new 3DS, and the topics of the podcast; Mystical Ninja on the SNES and N64 as well as Diablo on the PC.  We also talk about some news of the world that has been happening this week, and oddly, since we are doing this regularly enough, we can really talk about the news happening.  Also we bring up new ideas that we have for the site.  Let us know what you think!
