Moon. Always pick the moon.

Gillman and Zack are at it again! This week we are playing Duck Tales 1 and 2 for the NES, along with the re-releases on GameBoy. We provide our color commentary and thoughts about how just terrible I am at these games. Let us know what you think and feel in the comments!

Spoony Bard Podcast: Episode…. 67?: We learned NOTHING

I went into these games expecting, at best, to learn something about debilitating illnesses/flossing; I came out with a new hero.  His name is Rex Ronan and he can cure ANYTHING with his mixture of not caring, combat rolls, and magic lasers.  In his free time he punches holes in reality to other worlds, just so teach them how to party on a level that we feels is acceptable.  I heard that he is not only best friends with Slash, but he is the reason that Guns and Roses broke up; Axel Rose isn’t nearly as cool.  They had to make the game that he was in unplayable and confusing because if it was based on his real life no one would do anything besides play it and wish fondly that he was there dad.

Spoony Bard Podcast: Episode 66: Fuck You UPS, I’m Hungry

I don't know, something funny

I know that this one is late.  There are a lot of reasons, some of them I go over in the next podcast or so, but I should just let you know that there is no reason that this pod is nearly as tardy as it id.  I am sorry about that.

We talk about Kirby in this one, take a break because Stark gets a new mouse, and then kind of just BS for awhile before turning the entire process off.  You know, standard operating procedure for the cast for the most part.  Also, if you want to leave a comment.  That always seems to help us figure out what to do next.  Or, if you are up to it rate us on iTunes, because at the moment we have one review of someone saying that we are morons and are terrible.

Spoony Bard Podcast: Episode 42: This is Taking Away From Skyrim

If you are like Stark and I the Disney Afternoon played a rather large role in your life growing up.  If you aren’t like us, well I don’t really know why you are listening to a video game podcast about old things.  Also we talk about Skyrim, if you hadn’t noticed by the title or anything like that.  For me this was a great experience, finally being able to play some of the games that I lusted after as a child–oddly only to discover that they kind of weren’t nearly as good as Nintendo Power said that they were.

Also, we are looking for suggestions for the next episode.

Spoony Bard Podcast: Episode 33: For Science, You Monster

This week we talk about Blaster Master and everything awesome that has involved with it.

I would love to blame this podcast going up late on my new job, but the truth of the matter is that I have just been sitting on possibly some of the easiest to edit content that we may have ever recorded.  I don’t know why it hasn’t gotten upload, and you can blame that entirely on me.  Besides the standard block of video game talk we also discuss important things like anime and old movies that no one besides the two of us would ever care about.  You know, the things that really matter in life.

Also, tell us how you feel about the new– much longer– format.  We always love reading any and all fan feedback.
