Back to basics this episode, Stark and I are joined by no one and we talk about a game that neither one of us really know that much about– Yoshi’s Island. Everything from Mortal Kombat tournaments to how we feel that PSN isn’t doing a terrible job at making up for what it did (although it isn’t really going out of its way either), we don’t really stay on anything that could ever be a topic. We also welcome everyone to leave some feedback, even make lots of suggestions on how you can go ahead and manage to do that. And if any of you are wondering what we are going to be talking about next week, it is Mutant League Football.
Stark and I start talking about Mega Man Legends and then are quickly joined by our newest writer Elise. From that moment forward pretty much everything goes south and we have one of the more insane and out of control conversations that we have ever had. Stark manages to fit in conversation about Ar Tonelico, I bring up Monster Hunter Tri, and Elise talks about TV. While most of us don’t care about Fringe or True Blood they are brought up non-the-less. I could go on, but I don’t want to lose some of our feeds. After all we are the classiest podcast on the net!
Episode 22 of the Spoony Bard podcast brings us to talking about Dr. Mario. As we are want to do we start talking about pretty much everything and anything that isn’t the game that we played for this week, as well as the fact that a plumber is probably the last person that either one of us would go to for medical advice. Stark talks about how he is “finally done” with Neptunia and how he is getting ready to start playing the new Ar Tonelico. I discuss how much I already miss Company of Heroes: Online and my new addiction of Age of Empires: Online, also that I may have a problem with free to play RTS games.
Those of you who listen to the pod weekly have been introduced to Chuck. Turns out that the two of us might be getting a normal radio show on all things tech and tech support. I thought that those of you who check out the website on a regular basis might be interested in what I am working on currently, as well as why there wasn’t an article from me last week, and I thought that I would give you our demo for the radio.
Also, I would really love input on this, so feel free to leave a comment.
In probably our longest podcast ever we talk about Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, but end up calling it Link’s Awakening the entire time, and Starcraft and how awesome the second one is. We go way off topic and talk about things that would get us kicked out of any proper company. Our conversation ranges from everything from Facebook games and how they have destroyed us to how Square has ruined all of RPGs in the world. This one is for Juan.
