5 More Ecchi Anime Series That Push the Limits

If the website traffic of Varms.net has taught me anything, it is that the internet is a gathering of depraved perverts.  It seems my first handful of ecchi shows was not enough to satisfy my fellow fans of boobies and pantsu, so this time I have scoured the earth looking for some seriously depraved anime.  Also, be sure to check out my weekly Anime-Round up, where I talk about the currently airing shows I’m watching.  This fall I will be covering To Love Ru Darkness as it airs, a show that is guaranteed to be a treasure trove of ecchi-harem goodness.  I would also like to mention that if you have any suggestions for ecchi shows you would like to see in this feature, post ‘em in the comments section, and I will check them out when I get the chance!

5. Freezing

This show is probably the tamest entry on this list, so I will get it out of the way for now.  Freezing is an ecchi action show about specially trained/engineered girls called Pandora’s, created to fight an alien menace known as the Nova.  In the end, this is all just an excuse to have a bunch of schoolgirls with superhuman abilities beat each other up so their clothes will rip apart.  Each and every fight means there will be nudity, as it seems the uniforms of the “Genetics” academies are made out of tissue paper.  One word of caution, however, the fights between these girls get rather brutal, so be prepared to see cute girls tearing each other’s limbs off as well as their clothes (don’t worry, they can regenerate body parts).  This show delivers heavy doses of action and fan service, and is more fun that it should be.

4. Ladies Versus Butlers

This delicious title is produced by studio Xebec, and is famous for having a super-moe art style featuring voluptuous girls.  The story is about a school that has students training to become the servants of the upper-class students, in order to ensure the audience will get to see some of the girls in maid outfits whenever possible.  There is a fairly balanced cast of girls to satisfy a wide variety of 2D fetishes, with everything from clumsy, busty maids, to reverse traps.  The fan service can get fairly extreme at times during the regular show, but things get cranked up a notch during the “specials” that come with the Blu-ray/DVD.  These special episodes are only a few minutes long, but each one features one or two of the girls doing the equivalent of a playboy-style video shoot.

3. Asa Made Jugyou Chu!

It’s kind of unfair to put this in an article about ecchi series when it is only a one episode OVA, but this one episode packs in so much ecchi content; some consider it to be a hentai anime.  This is the story of a boy named Yuuki that ends up having to stay in the girl’s dormitory of his school and live with his super-busty teacher, because that is how school works.  Yuuki’s teacher decides to “take responsibility” for him, which somehow turns into a series of very sexy situations while they are living together.  One review for this OVA on an anime forum named this, “Viagra: The Anime”, and rightfully so.

2. Kiss x Sis

Keita has a problem that most men could only dream of.  He has older, non-blood related, twin stepsisters that live with him, and they are madly in love with him.  Not only are they in love with him, they are also devilishly perverted and horny.  This is one of the most extreme ecchi shows I have ever seen.  This is probably the only TV anime to feature handjobs AND footjobs, along with massive amounts of very creative perverted situations.  While the TV show seemed very extreme, there is an ongoing series of OVAs that come with special editions of the manga that takes things up another level.  If you love ecchi, this show is a MUST SEE.

1. Seikon no Qwaser

Seikon no Qwaser is about “Qwasers”, individuals that can control a single element of the periodic table to fight.  While this seems like a fairly basic sci-fi anime plot, this is where the ecchi comes in.  Qwasers get their power from a woman’s life force, called “soma”, and there is only one way to get it: by suckling on some titties.  No, I’m not making this up.  Whenever the heroes (or bad guys) need to power up, they find a girl and suck on some super-powered breast milk.  This anime was created with the breast fanatic in mind- there are girls with boobs in every shape and size, ranging from massive cow tits to DFC, and all of them shall be tasted.  As ridiculous as the plot of this show sounds, it is actually really entertaining, and the constant, over-the-top ecchi content is guaranteed to keep any lover of breasts occupied.  There are two seasons of this show, but it should be noted that the second season isn’t quite as good as the first, though it still has some decent ecchi scenes.

Weekly Anime Round-Up: September 17th – September 23rd

The summer season is coming to an end, and on that note two awesome shows aired their last episodes this week.  Accel World and Yuru Yuri are over, and both shows will be missed.  The weekly round-up may start to trim down for a bit during these next couple weeks as more shows finish up, but don’t worry, they will soon be replaced by a handful of new shows I plan on watching for the Fall season.

Accel World:  Episode 24 End

The final battle is Dusk Taker is underway, and now the pressure is on Haru to prove his worth to the Nega Nebulous legion.  As this story arc comes to an end, it seems there are still many questions left behind about the true nature of Brain Burst.  This show is selling reasonably well, and even has an upcoming PSP game in Japan; so there is a good chance we will get another season down the road.  This was one of my favorite shows of the year so far, and a big contender for my top 10 shows of the year.

Dog Days Season 2:  Episode 12

With only one episode left, the action and drama is getting intense for Shinku and friends.  Nah, just kidding- like the rest of this season, not much of interest happens this week.  It may seem premature to criticize this show before it’s finished, but I’m going to say this was one of the biggest flops of the season, and a huge disappointment.  I honestly have contemplated dropping this a few times over the course of the season, but I held on purely due to my love of the first season.  The cute, fun, and light-hearted nature of the original has somehow been confused with filler-grade fluff this time around, and this episode was more of it.  Even a mind-blowing final episode next week won’t make up for this season, but I’ll be sure to gripe about it when the time comes.

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate:  Episode 11
(Love, Election, and Chocolate)

Now that Yuuki knows the truth behind the so-called “Public Safety Committee”, he finds out his political career may be over before it has even started.  There is a lot that happens this week, and this article would be spoiler-tastic if I went on about what happened.  Stop reading this and go watch, NOW.

Kono Naki ni Hitori Imouto ga Iru!:  Episode 11
(One of Them is my Little Sister!)

As “Mister X” continues to help Shougo stop the plot to take over the company, Miyabi has decided to step up her game and ask Shougo on an actual date.  Unfortunately, Shougo’s doubts about the girls he had finally begun to trust are becoming more intense as new facts come to light.  Will Shougo ever be able to get some without ruining a chance to run a massive corporation and become stupid rich?  Hopefully we will find out next week!

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, Season 2:  Episode 11
(Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere)

As Tenzou races to save his love interest, the battle against the Spanish Armada continues at a furious pace, and this is only the first half of the fight!  If there is one thing that is certain, this season of Horizon is certainly not lacking in the action department.  The entire second half of this season has been nothing but Horizon’s trademark wacky combat, and this has been one hell of a fun ride.  Next week will likely wrap up this story arc, so get ready for things to get even crazier.

Oda Nobuna no Yabou:  Episode 11
(The Ambition of Oda Nobuna)

Word has reached Nobuna that Sagara did not survive his last battle (?), and she is not taking it well.  Now the rest of the crew has to find a way to calm Nobuna’s rage before she uses her military might to crush the will of the people she was working to unite.  Next week is the final episode, so we will have to see what happens then…

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse:  Episode 12

Yui desperately struggles to find a way to destroy the radiation cannon in order to keep it out of Soviet hands, while also dealing with a horde of BETA without a TSF.  Can Yui survive a swarm of hungry, hungry BETA long enough to accomplish her mission?  Will she ever just admit that she secretly wants to bang Yuuya?  We have yet another half of this season to find out!

Sword Art Online:  Episode 12

A member of the Liberation Army requests help from Kirito and Asuna to rescue someone who has been trapped in a secret dungeon beneath Beginner Town.  A sudden encounter with a high level monster reveals the shocking truth behind the mysterious girls Kirito and Asuna have been taking care of.  On a side note, it seems the popularity of this show has spawned an equal amount of haters out there.  The funny thing is, even though this show is only halfway over, I’m already considering it for an AOTY contender.  Haters gonna hate…

This time the Yuri’s have decided to do Snow White and the 7 Dwarves for a school play.  This ridiculous rendition of a fairy tale classic turned out to be a hilarious way to end the season.  I had almost as much fun watching this as I did watching Nyarlko from the spring season, and I will surely miss the joy of Yuru Yuri Mondays.

[Not Very] Weekly Anime Round-Up: August 27th – September 16th

Okay anime fans, I messed up.  The boring and wretched toils of real, non-2D life got ahold of me for a few weeks, so the “weekly” round-up did not happen for a bit.  A combination of working massive amounts of overtime, moving to a new city, and waiting to have precious internet installed had forced me to put the round-up on a temporary hiatus.  Fortunately I found a way to marathon 3 weeks’ worth of anime and get caught up with the important things in life, such as futuristic online gaming, mecha combat, and teenage time-traveling lesbians.  For the sake of brevity and brining things back to the status quo, I’m going to jump right into the current episodes.

Accel World:  Episode 23

Now that Haru has figured out the secret behind Dusk Taker’s ability to stay hidden from match lists, he has finally decided to confront him before his master returns.  Dusk Taker has challenged Haru and Taku to a match that will put everyone’s burst points on the line- the winner will take a huge pile of burst points, the loser will lose everything and have Brain Burst forcefully uninstalled forever.  I also discovered something interesting during the past few episodes:  it turns out this show and Sword Art Online both take place in the same universe, and both franchises were written by the same author.

Dog Days Season 2:  Episode 11

Now that the “war” between the three kingdoms has come to pass, it will only be a matter of time before Shinku and company will have to return to Earth.  Naturally, this means it’s time for a body-switching episode, since no one has used that cliché for a while.  This episode was filler-tastic, which is pretty disappointing considering this season may only have one or two episodes remaining.  However, there is some fun in watching Shinku try and deal with being stuck in the body of a large-breasted ninja…

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate:  Episode 10
(Love, Election, and Chocolate)

After Yuuki survives his close brush with death, he now has to deal with a literal “clinger”.  To make matters worse, Yuuki has discovered that the group sponsoring his candidacy has a rather shady background.  This episode of full of drama and political thrills, not to mention some shocking revelations…

Kono Naki ni Hitori Imouto ga Iru!:  Episode 10
(One of Them is my Little Sister!)

Shougo has finally found his real sister, and has decided to go back to finding a bride.  Unfortunately, his bride hunt will have to wait until he deals with that little conspiracy take control of his father’s company.  Can Shougo foil the plot to steal what is rightfully his before it is too late?  Looks like we will have to watch and see!

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, Season 2:  Episode 10
(Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere)

The battle with the Spanish Armada is finally underway, and even though the Spanish fleet is destined to “lose” this battle according to the plan, they intend to sink the Musashi no matter what.  As the battle rages on, some of the crew has moved into England in order to help Tenzou save his newfound love… and get some revenge on the Trumps of England.  Prepare yourselves for even more spectacular, over-the-top action this week!

Oda Nobuna no Yabou:  Episode 10
(The Ambition of Oda Nobuna)

Sagara is beginning to feel the consequences of tampering with the past, as he finds the events around him are growing more difficult to predict.  Just as he begins to question how he can still be useful to Nobuna without being able to use knowledge of the future, one of the most critical battles in this era is about to take place.  There are some really crazy things that happen during this episode, so to avoid any nasty spoilers I’m not going to say anything else.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse:  Episode 11

A swarm of BETA rushing the base seems to be bad enough news, but things go from bad to worse when everyone figures out that the Soviets “allowed” this to happen.  It seems the Reds really want Japan’s shiny new radiation cannon for themselves, and will do anything to have it.  Can the team figure out a way to fight off the BETA and keep those dirty commies from stealing that really awesome gun?

Sword Art Online:  Episode 11

Kirito and Asuna have finally tied the knot, or at least they have in the virtual world.  In order to celebrate, they have decided to take a temporary leave from the guild and buy a home together.  As they go about enjoying their new lives together, they stumble upon a mysterious lost girl that has no name or stats, unlike a normal player.  Now the newlyweds have set out to return this lost girl home, and hopefully find her parents in the game world.

Yuru Yuri Season 2:  Episode 11

This week the girls discover a time machine just lying about the clubhouse for absolutely no reason.  Naturally, this causes Akari to accidentally get sent 1 year into the past.  Akari ends up trapped in the past when she finds out the time machine is broken, and she will need the help of a certain explosion-loving scientist in order to get back to the future.  In the meantime, Akari makes several attempts to alter her past in hopes of securing her place as the “main character” of the group.  The only bad thing about this episode is knowing there will only one more episode of this show left.

Weekly Anime Round-Up: August 12th – August 18th

Now that the Olympics are finally over, we can get back to what really matters: school elections and harem building.  Koichoco and Kono Naki are finally back, and we even get the treat of having an extra serving of Koichoco this week!  There is a lot to watch this week, so let’s get this round-up started!

Accel World:  Episode 19

Kuroyukihime’s adventure continues, as she encounters a Burst Linker that has been able to use cheating software to tame a legendary beast.  The drunken master of Kuroyukihime’s new friends shows everyone that he is more than just a lazy drunk, and there is even a surprise when someone else is able to enter the Accel World.  With this story finally wrapped up, next week we will be able to see what will become of Haru and Taku as they fight Dusk Taker and that filthy traitor…

Dog Days Season 2:  Episode 7

When the King of Heroes and the Demon King inspect a series of demon seals they made long ago, another hard lesson is learned about the dangers of touching seals.  The crew accidentally releases a mouse demon that has the strange ability to turn adults (teens?) into children.  As usual, Shinku and the other Heroes and Knights will have to come and clean up the mess.

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate:  Episodes 5&6
(Love, Election, and Chocolate)

The studio behind Koichoco was nice enough to catch things up a bit by giving us two episodes to watch this week.  The school election primaries have finally arrived, so everyone is doing their part to get as many votes as possible for Yuuki.  For some reason this involves cosplay and pandering to otaku and fujoshi to sell snacks at a high price to raise money for the campaign.  Will Yuuki’s speech be successful?  Will he be able to get enough votes in the primaries and make it to the main election?  Get your double dose of Koichoco to find out.

Kono Naki ni Hitori Imouto ga Iru!:  Episode 5
(One of Them is my Little Sister!)

Just as it seems Shougo’s worries are finally over, he continues to get harassed over the phone by yet another girl using the voice changing phone and making the claim of being his sister.  This incognito imouto insists that she will be able to fool Shougo no matter what, causing him to suffer restless nights.  Now a girl running a cosplay café seems to be aggressively pursuing Shougo…

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, Season 2:  Episode 6
(Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere)

The battle against the Trumps of England continues, giving us even more amazing, over the top action.  The fights were really amazing this week, with some spectacular, fast-paced animation bringing them to life.  As silly and abstract as this show is, episodes like this make it all worth it.  Be sure not to miss this week’s episode of Horizon! (As if anyone watching this, would.)

Oda Nobuna no Yabou:  Episode 6
(The Ambition of Oda Nobuna)

Sagara uses some knowledge of construction techniques from the future to build a fortress overnight, in hopes of giving Nobuna the ability to conquer yet another territory.  Unfortunately, the plan quickly falls apart when Nobuna is drawn into a trap, leaving Sagara and his group of loyal and deadly girls to defend the newly constructed fortress.  Try not to be overwhelmed by the sadness this week; I promise you, it will be okay.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse:  Episode 7

And so this is the second and final part of the “stranded on an island” story arc.  Honestly, I have no idea why they felt this needed to drag on for two episodes, especially since this is filler-grade stuff.  At the very least there is some more bikini fanservice I guess.  Next week’s episode is going to take place on the front lines of the Soviet Union, so hopefully things will be more interesting.

Sword Art Online:  Episode 7

Kirito seeks the help of a cute blacksmith in order to forge a powerful new sword.  Unfortunately the materials required can only be gathered by a master smith in the nest of a dangerous crystal dragon.  Prepare for adventure and heartbreak in this week’s episode of Sword Art Online.

Yuru Yuri Season 2:  Episode 7

This episode brings more antics from Himawari and Sakurako, as poor Himawari overreacts to putting on some weight.  This week also looks into the disturbing life of Akari’s obsessive sister, with hilarious results.  On a side note, this show has officially corrupted the way I look at exercise balls for the rest of my life…

Weekly Anime Round-Up: August 5th – August 11th

The Olympics are finally over, so next week’s round up will finally be whole again.  This week however will be another week without brutal schoolyard politics and gold-digger harem antics.  In the meantime, most shows are hitting the halfway mark for the summer season, so let’s see how things are coming along this week!

Accel World:  Episode 18

There is bad news and good news for Accel World fans this week.  After the rage-inducing cliffhanger we were all left with last week, this episode is taking a step back from current events to tell the story of Kuroyukihime and her vacation in Okinawa.  While this may seem annoying, this was actually a fun episode.  Kuroyukihime surprisingly encounters a pair of Burst-linker’s during her vacation that makes a foolish mistake of challenging her.  When the fight is over, they make a request of the Black Queen to help their fallen master.  This is a two-part episode, so we will have to wait another week to see what became of Haru and Taku.

Dog Days Season 2:  Episode 6

When Couvre and Shinku visit a shrine where the Demon King and Hero King slumber, they attempt to break the seal in order to create a “miracle.”  Instead, they end up breaking the seal on the Demon King… but fortunately for them the demon king’s first order of business… is to peep into the women’s bathhouse, causing his lewd antics to awaken the hero king.  Will this pair return to their peaceful slumber, or will they stick around for the fun?

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, Season 2:  Episode 5
(Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere)

As the festival begins, the “Trumps” of England begin to challenge the crew of Musashi to duels.  Have you ever seen a witch fight a swimmer in a giant orb of water?  How about a pair of Japanese warriors fighting on a soccer field?  How about a mage fighting a werewolf that spits laser beams?  You’re not on drugs; you are just watching another episode of Horizon.  This episode is loaded with the weird, zany action that only the creators of Horizon can conceive.

Oda Nabuna no Yabou:  Episode 5
(The Ambition of Oda Nabuna)

When the Oda clan finds they are at a stalemate dealing with the genius tactician Hanbei, Sagara once again tries to use is knowledge form the games he played to bring Hanbei to their side.  It turns out that Hanbei’s true form is not what it seems when it is revealed the mysterious man is actually yet another young girl.  Watch as ancient Japanese warriors lose both their lives and their dignity as they are brutally defeated by a group of young girls and a gamer from the future…

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse:  Episode 6

This week Yuuya and his unit go out on a UN sponsored morale boosting activity… the technical term for “this is our excuse for having an obligatory beach episode.”  There is no mecha/ Top Gun drama or BETA warfare this week… it’s just a fairly generic fanservice episode.  The fun in the sun comes to an abrupt end when the group is separated by a storm…

Sword Art Online:  Episode 6

Kirito finally figures out the secret behind the assassinations within safe zones after being inspired by… a dropped sandwich.  He eventually uncovers the truth behind a guild driven to madness by a rare drop, and even darker secrets of a married couple that fell apart in the game world.  And it seems all this talk of marriage within the game has a certain someone offering Kirito a friend request…

Yuru Yuri Season 2:  Episode 6

The girls are off to Comiket this week, as Kyouko sets up to sell her doujin books and an anime she made.  This is the kind of comiket episode that pops up in many slice of life/ otaku humor shows, but with that distinctive Yuru Yuri flavor.  Kyouko’s ridiculous fan-made version of the Mirakurun anime makes this episode worth it by itself, but there is plenty more fun in the rest of this episode as well.
