Gillman and Nick are having the time of their lives while they play through some of the smaller sections of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. We have some chat with our favorite in game fan and banter about our weekend together. Hit us up in the comments if you have anything worth… commenting… about…
Stark and I continue to push the bounds of both what Twitch will let us archive and what the free streaming software that we use will allow us to do. Mainly that is why the stream is randomly split into two or more pieces, what can you expect when you are streaming for almost four hours and talking about nothing. We play through everything that is, currently, in the “story” mode of Broforce and play a good chunk of Half Minute Hero 2. If that isn’t enough for you we also use our super cute intro gif as well as the really sexy dancing one. Don’t worry everyone, there is four hours of talk and we pretty much deliver as expected on all fronts.
Longing for the days when Saturday morning meant something, Stark and Gillman woke up first thing and started streaming some retro style games for the pleasure of all of our fans. The games might be new, but you will think that this is stuff from the 90s. We start the stream by playing through Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge, a heart warming story of a hero that is trolled on space-facebook and travels to that person’s home planet to kick his ass. That is the story, and that is all you need because video games. I end up dropping the difficulty down to easy and beating the game, after awhile. Not feeling done we play some Guacamelee and I prove that I am terrible at all things that are jumping puzzles. Don’t worry, the Gilman and Stark commentary runs throughout, mainly about topics you may or may not care about. Also passingly about the games.
Gillman and Stark get levels of drunk that they shouldn’t probably do with open mics around. Don’t worry as they are having a good time and screaming at each other about being both terrible friends and even worse games. We start off the night not being able to figure out how to multiplayer, fix that by yelling at each other, spend long periods of time frustrated, and then finally go to Monster Hunter where I have one of the best runs of my life–which seems odd as I was pretty drunk at that point.
So we are back with the Friday night stream, or at the very least posting it as an after thought. Stark, Gillman, and Casey hang out for a couple of hours and shoot the shit while drinking some beers. Regardless of the people not jumping into the chat we manage to have a good time. The entire thing is about three and a half hours long, so just about the length of your standard Giant Bomb Cast. Sound off in the comments if there is anything that you would like to see going forward, because you are the fans and we totally have no idea what else to do.
